How to make this time in your life transformational!


Empty nest syndrome is a general feeling of depression and loneliness that parents/other guardian relatives feel when one or more of their children leave home. While more common in women, it can happen to both sexes. The marriage of a child can lead to similar feelings, with the role and influence of the parents often becoming less important compared to the new spouse.
A strong maternal or paternal bond between the parent and child can make the condition worse. The role of the parent while the child is still living with them is more hands-on and immediate than is possible when they have moved out, particularly if the distance means that visits are difficult.

In this group you will learn specific skills to transform this empty nest transition in your life.

Empty Nest group benefits:

You will learn tools and strategies to Enhance this time in your life in the following areas:

    Expand to new interests.
    Reconnect with spouse.
    Find your life's purpose.
    Deal effectively with feelings of emptiness and depression.
    Create a new & satisfying relationship with your child who has left home.
    Create a new & satisfying relationship with your child who is now married.
    Deal with feelings of loneliness and missing your child.

Empty Nest Group will consist of 12 sessions for 2 hours each and will meet at a Marina Del Rey adjacent location on Thursday nights 7-9 pm.
A 4 session commitment is required and fee is $200.00 for 4 sessions in advance.
A free consultation in provided in advance to see if this group is right for you!
Sign up by September 15 and you get a 15% discount on the first 4-sessions.
Group will begin October 13. 2011.
